the melodies here are really fun but a lot of the drum section feels distinctly cheap and the lack of subbier elements hurts the song when more stuff gets added in.

still, its really cute and i like the progression, id just maybe add some stuff in the sub area to counter the high mids (they get REALLY harsh when the lead gets added in the 2nd half) and maybe look into getting some drum samples that sound less stock.

overall this is quite good tho i really enjoy the vibe you tried for here and your arrangements and use of countermelodies is definitely improving!

definitely an improvement! feels a lot more fully formed in terms of ideas i love the lil syncopated synth in the back in the 2nd half. still got a lot of improvements you can make (maybe some fun interplay between the synth and a bass, maybe sidechaining to the drums?) but you're improving quite quickly!

really good melodies here but the mixing felt a bit flat generally (have u tried using eq to highpass some stuff from the piano and synth, as well as reverb to slightly dampen the sound?) - still, really solid start, you've got a lot of potential going forward
